These terms are an agreement between you and HomeProRegister ("we", "us", "our") and cover your use of homeproregister.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, adding or claiming a listing, buying a featured listing, or sending an inquiry through the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

What the Site is

HomeProRegister is an online directory. We list home repair, improvement and outdoor-living companies and help people find and contact them. We are not a pro. We do not perform, schedule, supervise, license, insure, or guarantee any company's work, and we are not a party to any agreement you make with a company you find here. A free listing, a claimed listing, or a paid "featured" listing is not an endorsement, certification, background check, or guarantee of any company. You are responsible for checking a company's licensing, insurance, references and suitability before you hire them.

For people looking for help

The information on the Site is provided to help you find companies in your area. It may be incomplete or out of date. Always confirm details directly with the company. Nothing on the Site is medical, legal, or professional advice. If you or someone else is in immediate danger or needs urgent medical help, call 911.

Company listings

Some listings are created from publicly available business information. A company can claim its listing by verifying an email address, and can then edit its details. If you claim or edit a listing, you confirm that you are authorized to act for that company and that the information you provide is accurate and not misleading. You may not list a business you do not operate or represent. We may edit, decline, suspend, or remove any listing at our discretion — for example if information appears false, unlawful, or harmful — and we may remove a listing on a company's request.

Accounts

Company accounts sign in with an email code rather than a password. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping access to your email secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been misused.

Featured listings and billing

A company can buy a featured listing as a paid subscription — currently $49 per month or $399 per year. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel, and by subscribing you authorize those recurring charges. Prices and features may change; we will give notice of a price change before it applies to your next renewal. You are responsible for any applicable taxes. Inquiries and leads

When you send an inquiry through the Site, we pass it to the company or companies you selected or that serve your area. We do not guarantee that any company will respond, quote, or be available, and we are not responsible for the services any company provides or fails to provide. Any agreement, payment, or dispute about the actual cleanup work is strictly between you and the company.

Acceptable use

Don't use the Site to post false or misleading information, impersonate a business or person, collect data by scraping or automated means, send spam, interfere with the Site's operation or security, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

Intellectual property

The Site's design, text, and organization are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Site for its intended purpose. Company names, logos, and marks belong to their respective owners.

Disclaimers

The Site and everything on it, including all listings and company information, are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any listing is accurate, current, or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising out of your use of the Site or your dealings with any company found through it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or US $100.

Indemnification

If you list or advertise a company on the Site, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your listing content, your services, or your breach of these terms.

Third-party services

We rely on third parties to run the Site, including Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for hosting and security, and an email provider for verification and notifications. Your use of those features is also subject to those providers' terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Site or remove a listing at any time if we believe these terms have been broken or to protect the Site or its users.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you agree to that venue.
